RADIOLOGIST - General Radiology/Mammography Opportunity
Due to expanding growth in demand for imaging services, we are offering a full-time, partnership track position
for a fellowship-trained radiologist in the suburban Seattle area. This position will include a mix of both general
radiology (cross sectional imaging, U/S, plain films) and mammography. Fellowship training could be in any number of
areas, but a willingness/desire to participate in our breast imaging service is required.
We offer a full complement of breast imaging services including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI,
stereotactic breast biopsy, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and MRI-guided breast biopsy. We currently provide
imaging services for two hospitals (including a breast center), and have two joint-ownership outpatient imaging
centers as well.
Both hospitals we service have LORAD mammography and stereotactic units. One of the hospitals will be converting
to completely digital mammography services in mid 2007. We utilize Confirma CADstream software in the interpretation
of breast MRI's, and utilize the Suros ATEC system for our MRI-guided breast biopsies.
At one of our hospitals, we currently have 4 MRI scanners including 2 Siemens 1.5T Symphony units, Siemens 3T Trio,
and a Hitachi .7T Open Magnet. Additionally, we have a GE 64 channel Light Speed CT scanner, as well as additional
GE 8 and 16 channel Light Speed CT scanners. We also have a fusion GE PET-CT scanner. At the other hospital, we
have a GE 16 channel Light Speed CT scanner and a Phillips 1.5T MRI.
